After 10 years, Ola at Turtle Bay Resort will close its doors in December.
Turtle Bay Resort announced its replacement Tuesday: Roy’s Beach House restaurant.
Ola opened in December 2005 in the space overlooking Turtle Bay’s Kuilima Cove.
“Roy’s Beach House will be a magnificent new offering to our resort experience and will make staying here at Turtle Bay or spending a day on the North Shore even more unique and special,” said Danna Holck, vice president and general manager of Turtle Bay Resort. “A warm mahalo goes to Chef Fred and Cheryl DeAngelo and the wonderful team at Ola for the many years of delicious cuisine, superb service and relaxing ambiance they have provided at Turtle Bay Resort to our guests and residents of Oahu.”
Ola at Turtle Bay Resort will remain open with normal business hours through Dec. 15.
The resort says the concept for the menu and design of Roy’s Beach House is currently underway and the build-out of the new restaurant will begin early next year.
It is scheduled to open sometime in second quarter 2016.
More information, including the menu and official grand opening date, will be released at a later date.
